The Fifth Annual National Juried Cup Show hosted by the Kent State Museum will hold its opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the Tarter/Miller Gallery of the Kent State Museum in Rockwell Hall.

The cups will be on display until June 11. The museum hours are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8:45 p.m.

Anderson Turner, coordinator of the show, said over 200 entries were received from around the country.

The show was reviewed by Kent State alumna Renee Fairchild. Fairchild chose 37 pieces from the 200 entries to be displayed. Fairchild is currently assistant editor for Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated and editor for Potters Pages, and said she was honored to jury the show.
