Fashion students prepare annual show
April 5, 2005
Senior fashion design students will show off their work April 14 and 15 at the Rockwell Hall auditorium during the annual runway show. This year’s movie-themed show is titled “Silverscreen” with all the garments playing off different classic movies. The design students have been sketching, designing and constructing their garments since last summer.
Twenty-four students’ work will be on display. The work that will be featured on the runway was selected by a group of fashion designers from New York City who have worked with the students throughout the year.
The shows, which are open to the public, will take place at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. April 14 and 8:30 p.m. April 15. Student tickets are $18 and non-student tickets are $55. Tickets will be on sale on the second floor of the Student Center April 11 through 13 and are currently being sold on the first floor of Rockwell Hall.
