The Good Shepherd Boxing Club provides a refuge for people of any age, sex, or race in the Akron Community.  The club has been in operation on Gale Street for the last 13 years.  Its goal is to get kids off the street.

The cub provides a place to workout for up-and-coming boxers on both the local and national level, for kids who need something to do after school, and for a disabled 14-year-old trying to rehabilitate himself after a life-altering car accident.  The club surrounds its members with positive influences and role models.
