The blotter is a record of charges filed by the police. The listings do not represent convictions or reflect guilt. It is the Daily Kent Stater’s policy to publish on- and off-campus arrests, charges and incidents of interest to the public.
City Blotter
– Phillip Tremayne Davis, 18, of Ravenna was arrested on a Ravenna City Police Department warrant.
– Vanessa Kay Coon, 22, of Kent was arrested on a Norton Police Department warrant.
– John D. Johnson, 53, of Kent was charged with public intoxication at the Giant Eagle on South Water Street.
– Scott Vincent Shearen, 18, of Danbury was charged with underage drinking on the corner of Willow and Main streets.
– Bruno Anthony Zottola, 19, of Olmsted Falls was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
– Todd Mejac, 19, of Perry was charged with underage drinking.
– Anthony S. Rossetti, 18, of Ashtabula was charged with underage drinking.
– Criminal damage was reported at the 1000 block of Silver Meadow Boulevard. The exterior door to the building was damaged.
– Criminal damage was reported at the 1300 block of Lawrence Court. Wires were pulled from a phone box at the Silver Meadows laundry room.
– Theft was reported at the Sorboro’s Italian Kitchen. Fifty-six dollars was taken from a delivery truck.
– Property was found on Steele Street. A black CD case with 11 CDs was found.
– Theft was reported at the 500 block of Dansel Street. A black leather bag, a day planner and a palm computer were reported stolen.
– Criminal Damage was reported at the 200 block of East Erie Street. Four tires were slashed on a car that belonged to Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
– A Ford Escort was reported stolen from North Mantua Street.
– An assault was reported at the 1600 block of Sassafras Court. An unidentified male assaulted a woman in the lobby of her apartment building.
– An assault was reported outside the Zephyr Cafe.
– Criminal damage was reported at the 1800 block of Gemini Court. The front window and window frame were broken.
