Professional Women begin nominations

The Professional Women of Kent State University has begun the nomination process for its Eighth Annual Distinguished Woman Award.
Karen Clement, the chairwoman of the selection committee for the group, said community members are encouraged to “nominate candidates who are generally recognized as making a significant contribution to the university community and whose achievements make them a significant role model.”
Women currently or formerly employed by the university are eligible.
All female faculty and staff members will receive a nomination form in the upcoming newsletter from the group.
