Finalists selected for dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

Kent State announced its final candidates for the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences in an email from the Office of the Provost.
The candidates include Mandy Munro-Stasiuk, the interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Kent State, E. Yeuh-Ting “Y-T” Lee, the director of applied psychology at Southern Illinois University and Anna Maria Franco-Watkins, the interim dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University.
Each candidate will have a public presentation and will also answer questions from attendees.
Presentations will be live streamed, and people are encouraged to provide input through surveys, the email stated.
“The candidates will discuss the top three issues confronting colleges of arts and sciences in the decade ahead, and what strategies Kent State’s College of Arts and Sciences can use to address these challenges,” Melody Tankersley, the senior vice president and provost, said in the email.
The members were chosen by the search committee, which was chaired by Christina Bloebaum, the dean of the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, the email stated.
Mandy Munro- Stasiuk will have a public presentation Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. Her presentation will be on Microsoft Teams Live, and people can fill out her candidate evaluation survey.
E. Yeuh-Ting “Y-T” Lee will have a public presentation Thursday, Feb. 17 at 4 p.m. His presentation will be on Microsoft Teams Live, and people can fill out his candidate evaluation survey.
Anna Maria Franco- Watkins will have a public presentation Monday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. Her presentation will be on Microsoft Teams Live, and people can fill out her candidate evaluation survey.
Along with the presentations, candidates will also meet with stakeholders across the university and the college, the email stated.
