Opioid grant

- Melody Tankersley, Kent State’s interim senior vice president and provost and Amy Reynolds, dean of the College of Communication and Information at Kent State, worked together to acquire a $500,000 OhioCorps Grant according to a Kent State press release.
- Kent State was one of the five public universities to receive the grant according to Ohio Higher Education
- Kent State’s program is the only one that offers a long-term college readiness program with housing and once a month sessions during the academic year.
