Austin Brewster and Sydney Marksberry are going for the gold. The two Kent State students are coming off a great performance at collegiate nationals with Marksberry taking home silver and Brewster taking home pewter. Their passion for figure skating grew at Kent State, with both girls having connected during their youth. Although the skaters spend most of their time on the ice, the memories they make off the ice are the ones that will last a lifetime. The Kent State ice skating team prides itself on its community and camaraderie. Although the Kent State ice skating team is gearing up for competitions, they will present their annual exhibition on April 10. Olivia Sharp, reporting for TV2 News.
