Men’s basketball season ends at the hand of Indiana in NCAA Tournament

Kent State’s men’s basketball team fell to Indiana (23-11) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The last time the Flashes (28-7) won a tournament game was in 2002.
On the season, KSU averaged 18 points per game off turnovers – they recorded eight points Friday.
Hoosier forward Trayce Jackson-Davis led all players with 24 points and 11 rebounds; redshirt senior forward Race Thompson added 20 points.
For the Flashes, redshirt senior Sincere Carry led the team with 15 points. Redshirt senior guard Malique Jacobs recorded a team-high nine rebounds.
Indiana recorded 46 points in the paint – KSU totaled 26.
The Flashes shot 31.9% from the field and were 7-of-21 from behind the arc. IU shot 46.8% from the field and were 5-of-14 from behind the arc.
With the win, Indiana will play Miami (FL) Sunday at MVP Arena in Albany, New York.
