Alleged porch stalker indicted for two felonies, two misdemeanors

Steven Franzreb, 43, who police say appeared on the front porches of the Alpha Phi and Delta Gamma sorority houses wearing only a Speedo swimsuit, was indicted by a Portage County Grand Jury on Thursday.
Franzreb of North Royalton, Ohio, is charged with two counts of menacing by stalking, both fourth-degree felonies. He also faces two counts of public indecency — one is a third-degree misdemeanor, the other, a second-degree misdemeanor.
Kent Police arrested Franzreb around 10:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at D’Agnese’s, a restaurant in Broadview Heights, Ohio, where he worked as a bartender. The U.S. Marshals office assisted Kent Police in identifying Franzreb and obtaining an arrest warrant, according to a press release from Kent Police.
A cash bond of $50,000 was set by Common Pleas Judge Becky Doherty on Friday. Franzreb is being held at the Portage County Jail until his next court date which is scheduled for Nov. 6.
