Governor John Kasich delivered his State of the State address to a crowd in Lima, Ohio, Tuesday night. Kasich spoke about creating jobs, expanding Medicaid, and lowering taxes on small businesses.
Manager Krystal Urban of The Dog Squad, in downtown Kent, says it’ll be beneficial because there’s less traffic than a larger business would have.
“It’d be great to have a majority of it cut, because you know it will help out a lot. We’d be able to spend money on other things we need besides you know the taxes,” Urban said.
The governor proposed to cut small business taxes by fifty percent on their first $750,000 of income.
