Lambda Chi Alpha will host a Pumpkin Bash day, Oct. 18, from 1-4 p.m. to raise money to buy food for the non-profit organization Feeding America.

“Our goal this year is to beat last year’s goal of 38,500 pounds,” said Bryant Allbrittin, external vice president of Lambda Chi Alpha. “We want to reach 40,000 pounds of food by the end of the semester.”

Canned goods can be donated at the event as well as monetary donations, which will all go toward Feeding America, Allbrittin said.

Though their target audience is Greek life, Allbrittin said that Lambda Chi Alpha encourages donations and participation from all student organizations on campus.
