Alright, the Olson twin movies are still, to this day, my guilty pleasure. Their 1993 Halloween film is one of my favorites. The Olson twins aren’t the only set of twins featured in this one, though. “Double, Double Toil and Trouble” has twice the sister power as Mary-Kate and Ashley play Kelly and Lynn, who discover a family secret involving their twin aunts, Agatha and Sophia.

The girls have to stop their evil Aunt Agatha, who has witch-like powers derived from a mystical moonstone, from ruining their family. Agatha is rich, but when Kelly and Lynn’s parents are in danger of losing their house, she refuses to help. She’s also holding her sister Sophia captive because she’s jealous of how much everyone else in the family loves her.

The girls, conveniently dressed in witch costumes for Halloween, demonstrate magic powers of their own as they carry around a toy wand. The only catch is that the special effects are sub-par, but keep in mind this was made in the early 90s and it shouldn’t be judged too harshly.
