While most students on campus were sleeping, the Kent State Football Team was preparing for the 2012 season with the first of nine 6:00 a.m. workouts.

At the workout, the Golden Flashes started out with a lap around the field house followed by various cardio exercises.

The football team worked out for just over an hour.

After the Golden Flashes were finished for the morning, Roosevelt Nix, Tyshon Goode and Coach Darrell Hazell talked about the workout.
