Students and faculty members can take a break from schoolwork at the Black Squirrel Festival Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Risman Plaza and Manchester Field.

Various bands will be playing during the festivities with other activities for students to participate in. A rock wall will be open all day with DJ Raver throwing down hits from open to close. Vendors will be lined up in kiosks and offering giveaways.

The event is free for anyone to attend.
