Tryouts for TV2, the on-campus, student-run TV station, started today for news, entertainment and technical positions.

TV2 is filling 30 additional staff positions this year, increasing from 120 spots last year to 150 spots this year.

The station moved to online applications this year to make access easier, and to make the try out process simpler.

Once the talent and tech positions are determined, TV2 will produce 14 live, weekly broadcasts. There will also be five webcasts on Kentwired.com, called “Flashcasts,” and five entertainment shows throughout the week.
