KSU police seek assistance in locating three robbery suspects

Kent State University Police and the Kent City police are investigating two separate robberies that occurred Sunday morning.
In the first incident, three suspects robbed two individuals at 2:40 a.m. on campus on the esplanade near the Kent Hall annex. The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5′ 10″ – 11″ tall with a lean build and dark complexion wearing a dark blue or black shirt and a dark baseball cap. He was carrying a small silver and white pocketknife. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male approximately 5′ 6″ – 7″ tall with a slightly heavier build than the first wearing jeans and a white t-shirt with a possible metallic design. The suspect displayed brass knuckles during the incident. The third suspect was described as a black male wearing what was described as a red polo shirt.
The second incident occurred off campus at the Eagles Landing apartments at 4:23 a.m. with a victim being robbed by three suspects. The first suspect was described as black male wearing a red hoodie shirt with shorts and carrying a knife; the second suspect is described as a light skinned black male wearing a white t-shirt with a possible blue design. The third suspect was a black male with no further description given.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
