Learn to move like Michael Jackson in “Thriller” at the Eastway Cafe tonight from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Dining Services will host the event, in which students watch the music video and learn the dance.

Toward the end of the night, students will perform the dance while being videotaped. The tape will be sent to thrilltheworld.com.

“We want to beat the world record,” said Autumn Piller, director of marketing for dining services. The Guinness World Record for the largest “Thriller” dance was held in Toronto, Canada, with 62 people dancing to the popular song, according to the Web site.

Students are encouraged to dress up as zombies or other characters from the music video.
