At yesterday’s Kent City Council meeting:

 

Council approved an ordinance to renew an expense tax levy.

Council approved an ordinance amending the Appropriation Ordinance, increasing funds for water, fire and sewer services.

Council approved an agreement with Stonewater Development Corporation to build road extension for Admore Drive in exchange for real estate owned by the city.

Councilman Rick Hawksley said future council meetings may be televised.

Council denied a motion to review the city’s 2005 budget.
