Women’s basketball to face BGSU, both undefeated in MAC

With an undefeated conference record, the Kent State women’s basketball team will look to remain the team to beat in the Mid-American Conference entering Saturday’s match-up against Bowling Green in the M.A.C. Center at 2 p.m.

Kent State (12-3, 3-0 MAC) fell at St. Bonaventure in the final nonconference game before winning three-straight against Miami, Buffalo and Ohio, in the opening stretch of conference play.

Bowling Green (15-1, 3-0 MAC) enters the game with a 15-game win streak, which includes three straight MAC double-digit victories.

Defending MAC Player of the Year, Falcons senior guard Lauren Prochaska, continues to dominate opposing defenses, averaging 20.2 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game.
