Kent State football, now 1-6 on the season, lost to Eastern Michigan 28-14 Saturday in Ypsilanti, Mich. This marked the Flashes’ fourth consecutive loss.

The last time the program lost four games in a row was in 2018.

This is the second consecutive game Ulatowski has replaced Alaimo.

Ulatowski was 12-of-28 for 169 yards and two touchdowns.

Senior wide receiver Luke Floriea caught both touchdowns for Kent State.

EMU junior quarterback Austin Smith completed nine passes for 118 yards and one touchdown against the KSU defense.

Kent State totaled 343 yards, EMU, now 4-3 on the season, totaled 218 yards.

The Flashes were 4-for-18 on third down – the Eagles were 5-for-15.

KSU’s next game will have the Flashes return home for the Homecoming game against Buffalo (2-4) Oct. 21 at 3:30 p.m.
