A little over a week away from the historic events at Kent State University 54 years ago, students, staff and faculty are all reflecting on how the campus community continues to commemorate May 4.

Chic Canfora, a professional-in-residence at the university who was here for the significant date in Kent State history, shared her perspective on the advocacy of the current student body and how they are utilizing their first amendment rights.
