One Love Yoga Studio will host its second Full Moon Flow Sun., July 9 at Riverside Park.

Participants should bring their own yoga mats to the event, which costs $15. The event begins at 8 p.m. and will end at 9:30 p.m.

Yoga instructor April Huth will lead participants throughout the night.

“This is currently our only outdoor event that our studio holds, and it is very special because it is when the moon is radiating its highest energies,” Huth said.

The moon shows its full face to the earth once a month and brings forth useful energy to absorb, according to the studio’s website.

Huth said she researches the sign the moon will reside in on that day, so she can make her flows accordingly.

“During the full moon, energies are always high and out of whack, and we need to spend time on calming them,” Huth said. “The thing that is cool about this event is it incorporates moon salutations, which are cooling and calming. It helps ground individuals and bring them back to their center.”
