Nana Yaw Gyimah, a sophomore mathematics major, ties a ribbon to the fence as a sign of solidarity for Shadi Farah during the Israeli Apartheid Week on Monday, March 20, 2017. Farah is a 13 year old boy who is currently serving a three-year prison sentence by the Israeli government. “I definitely encourage it more because people who definitely don’t know about it are blinded to the fact, like about that all the stuff that’s going on and think their lives are all perfect, and there’s actual people going through this stuff for no reason,” Gyimah said.
