Kent Student Center Programming hosted the twelfth annual Rock the Runway Fashion Show on Saturday in the Kent State Student Center Ballroom.

Rock the Runway is a themed competition that brings together music and fashion in a fresh and interactive way. Each participant must submit three cohesive looks that follow the theme. This year’s theme was The Jacksons.

Four judges, one including Michael Jackson’s costume designer of 25 years, Michael Bush, selected the first place winner, Kelly Nieser. The winning designer gets a scholarship that covers half of their fall tuition.
