Sara Hume, Kent State museum curator and associate professor, has spent her career researching the history of dress and the connection the fashion industry has with economic and political changes over history.
 
Hume discusses her career in fashion and her work with over 40,000 historic garments in the museum collection. The Kent State University Museum’s newest exhibit is “Flapper Style: Fashions of the 1920s.”
