The Alumni Association will host KSU on Canvas this Saturday, an evening of spending time with friends and alumni while painting and sipping on various wines.

“KSU on Canvas is a fun way for alumni to meet each other, learn a new skill such as painting and catch up on all things Kent State,” said Joy Wesoloski, Alumni Association’s Assistant Director of Outreach.

Participants will recreate a picture of pink trees, resembling cherry blossoms, but participants can choose any color to recreate the trees.

The event costs $35 for members of the Alumni Association and $40 for nonmembers. The registration fee will include all painting materials, painting instructions, snacks and wine. The painting created will be ready to take home at the event.

“This is the 4th KSU on Canvas the Alumni Association has held and it has been sold out each time,” Wesoloski said.

KSU on Canvas will be held at 1200 East Main Street at the Williamson Alumni Center from 6-9:30 p.m.
