The University Bookstore plans to have events all throughout the month of July so students can stay up-to-date on book trends, social things and pop culture.

“This is our Get Pop-Cultured Month and we are even more excited because each month we will have something going on,” said Nicole Dech, department manager at the bookstore. “We have done some promotions before the transition, but this is tied into the Barnes and Noble book world.”

Get Pop-Cultured Month is a celebration nationwide with Barnes and Noble that the bookstore is participating in.

One of the main events going on this month is Star Wars Saturday, on July 18. It will be a costume-filled festivity honoring the series. According to the press release, guests will be greeted with fun snacks, trivia, merchandise and more.
