The Office of Global Education will host a “Cultural Café” to broaden the community’s knowledge of the countries Albania and Qatar.

The event will take place in room 310 of the Student Center on March 31 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Two students are scheduled to speak about Albanian and Qatari cuisine, music, history and more within their countries, said Anne Cima, International Student and Scholar Services programming assistant and a senior human development and family studies major.

“It’s a good opportunity to learn first hand about a culture that otherwise you might not know about,” Cima said.

The event will have free Albanian and Qatari food specialties, and will be free and open to the Kent State community.

FLASHperks will be awarded to students who attend.
