Men’s basketball headed to CIT

The Kent State men’s basketball team has been selected to play in the CollegeInsider.com Post Season Tournament. This is the 15th time in the last 17 years the Flashes have qualified to play in the postseason.

Kent State is making its fourth appearance in the tournament and is 1-3 all time in CIT games.

The Flashes will travel to Murfreesboro, Tennessee to play Middle Tennessee(19-16, 9-9 Conference-USA) in the first round. This is the first time the two schools will play each other in school history.
