Artwork from Kent State’s international students will be featured on the second floor of the Student Center on Thursday, Nov. 20.

Annie Cima, a senior human development and family studies major who works for the Office of Global Education, said there are many international students who haven’t had the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents, and this showcase aims to do just that.

“We have some really amazing artists within our population,” Cima said.  “They’ve worked really hard, and they’re proud to be able to show off what they’ve accomplished.”

The exhibit will feature artwork from a variety of mediums such as oil paintings, calligraphy, drawings and photographs created by international students, Cima said.

The International Artwork Showcase is in conjunction with International Education Week, taking place Nov. 17 through the 21 and is sponsored by OGE.
