Butte Sessions to help students secure internships

John Butte, the coordinator for Career Services, will be holding his first “Butte Sessions” to help Journalism and Mass Communication students build their résumés and prepare for internships. The sessions will be held every Thursday in October from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. in 110 Franklin Hall.

Butte is available to edit and give advice on building students’ résumés, and is open to discussing internship opportunities.

“A lot of students don’t realize that they’ve done so much already in JMC that will help them build a good résumé,” Butte said.

Students can stop by at any time during the sessions.

In the spring, Butte will host the annual Career Expo, scheduled for April 4, where juniors and seniors have the opportunity to go to Cleveland for a day of networking and interviewing with northeast Ohio’s leading communication employers.
