Jerome Love to lead leadership speaker series

Jerome Love, an entrepreneur and professional speaker, will be speaking at Kent State University’s Kiva on Monday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.

Love will be the first of five speakers in the “Leadership Speaker Series” sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement (CSI).

“It is our hope that the Kent State community will come out to attend the programs and be able to learn from leaders in the industry,” Della  Marie Marshall, senior associate director of CSI, said in a CSI press release. 

According to the release, “Love is a well-respected expert in sales and business development. He enthusiastically shares how he turned his tribulations into success through interactive examples.”

 The other speakers in the series are Kym Whitley, actress and Cleveland native; Chaz Pitts-Kyser, a motivational speaker and author; Lilly Ledbetter, a crusader for equal pay and equal rights; and Nikki Giovanni, a poet, writer, commentator, activist and educator.

Admission to all of the speaking events is free.
