Authentic Asian cuisine, music and performances will encompass Risman Plaza for Asian Fest on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 4 to 7 p.m.

“Asian Fest will be a fun and educational event open to all students,” said Effie Tsengas, the communications and marketing director for the College of the Arts.

A variety of food from countries such as Taiwan, Korea and Japan will be available to sample, and students can watch a live sushi chef demonstration.

The event will feature live entertainment from the Kent State Wind and Thai Ensembles, and a finale performance featuring the Yin Tang Dance Company, Tsengas said.

Asian Fest will be free for all students and is hosted by Kent State’s College of the Arts.
