Renovations to Olson Hall, home to the College of Undergraduate Studies, are on track to be completed by March 2015. Olson Hall is located along the esplanade next to the M.A.C. Center.

The new facility will have spaces for tutoring, advising offices, four classrooms for group work or instructional use, an open student lounge area and a small café run by dining services, said Michael Bruder, executive director of Facilities, Planning and Design for the university. The café will also have a walk-up window that can be accessed from the esplanade.

“It’s a pretty large operation,” Bruder said. “Construction will be finishing up shortly before March and faculty will be moving into the facility in February.”

The College of Undergraduate Studies is temporarily located on the fifth floor of the main university library.
