The Office of Global Education will be holding the Spring 2014 Education Abroad Expo on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Kent State Student Center Ballroom Balcony on the third floor. All students are welcome to join and learn about the newest study abroad destination options for Summer 2014 as well as Fall 2014.

Some of the programs include Florence, Italy, and Geneva, Switzerland, with numerous options of courses to take while on the trip. Students of all majors and minors are welcome to study abroad at a variety of locations, as well as undecided students, said Ediz Kaykayoglu, assistant director of Education Abroad.

The Office of Global Education is open for students with questions furthering an interest in studying abroad.

“We tend to have less students interested in the Spring Education Abroad Expo, but we encourage students to become interested at all times. Everyone is welcome,” Kaykayoglu said.

Directors, advisers, and students with past study abroad experience will be in attendance at the Expo, giving all students time to speak with the expert of their choice. Kaykayoglu said further questions about program costs, the application process, housing and the trip in general can all be answered at the event.
