Kent State University Libraries will be hosting a question and answer session with U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins Thursday.Mary Lovin, University Libraries communications coordinator, said those interested in Collins’ work should visit the library before his poetry reading Thursday evening.“We encourage everybody to come that’s interested in asking him about his work,” Lovin said. “It would be great for those who write poetry to ask him how he comes up with his material and why he words things certain ways.”The session will take place on the first floor of the main library at 11:30 a.m in the quiet study area, and Collins’ reading will begin at 7:30 p.m in the Student Center Ballroom. For more information, visit www.kent.edu/wick.Dominique Todd-Library and information reporter Contact her at [email protected].
