Kent State Stark welcomes students to the spring semester with its Spring Kick-Off week.

The Campus Center, Emporium and Fitness Center plans to host a variety of activities for students to participate in Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Campus Center will provide games, such as Wii sports, as well as a shutter booth and a snack bar.

The Emporium will have specials on their “Game-Day menu,” which includes mini corndogs, pretzels and nachos. The specials begin at noon. The Emporium is also hosting a secret sauce competition Thursday at 1 p.m.

Both the Stark Honor’s Program and the Emporium will be collecting canned food from Tuesday through Friday in exchange for a free cup of chili or soup.

In addition to other campus events, the Fitness Center is hosting a cornhole tournament Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m.
