Kent State students interested in studying overseas this year are invited to attend the Office of Global Education’s Study Abroad Fair Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Student Center.

Students can stop by to ask questions about the university’s travel programs. Two of the university’s largest study abroad trips are in Florence, Italy, and Geneva, Switzerland. The Office of Global Education has other exchange partnerships available in France, Northern Ireland, England, Spain and others.

Lauren Svoboda, a sophomore art education major, said she was interested in traveling overseas to see artwork from her textbooks and classes in-person.

“I would love to visit the Louvre at some point in my life,” Svoboda said. “I’m planning to stop by the fair Wednesday and look for the Louvre on any banners or whatever.”
