Safety on Facebook

The New York Times released an article exposing several fraudulent acts on the world’s largest social media network, Facebook. One example The New York Times used consisted of a small town hospital. The hospital had a Facebook page with its staff’s professional pictures, along with pictures from the team dressed up in halloween costumes. More importantly it posted healthy eating and exercise tips. Then suddenly a Facebook profile appeared discrediting “Obamacare”. Hospital officials scrambled to take it down, and within 11 days it was gone. The officials still have no idea who was behind it.

Instances like that cause people to distrust Facebook. TV2 asked KSU students what think about Facebook and who do they accept to be their friends.
