Registration for the 12th annual Bowman Cup 5k Race is now underway. Registration through Oct. 11 is $20 for participants 10 years of age and older and free for children younger than 10. Registration after that date will cost $25.

The Bowman Cup is at 8 a.m. Oct. 20. The race begins and finishes in front of the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. The USA Track & Field certified course runs through Kent’s residential area and utilizes the Portage Hike and Bike Trail.

Participants can register online at http://www.kent.edu/recservices/bowmancup/index.cfm, or at the Rec.

There will be a free buffet for participants and door prizes with gifts from local vendors.

The first 650 participants will get a t-shirt.
