Kent State Police seek help identifying suspect in library theft

 

 

Kent State University Police are seeking assistance in identifying a theft suspect. The theft occurred during normal business hours on Monday, August 13, 2012 in the University Library. A book bag and its contents were taken from a public area within the Library.

The suspect is a thin black male. He was wearing fatigue colored shorts, a white t-shirt with a black vest over it. The vest had a red hood. He also wore a red baseball hat with a yellow bill, possibly displaying the Kansas City Chiefs’ logo.

No persons were physically harmed during this incident. Any information relating to this crime or to the suspect’s identity should be forwarded to Kent State University Police Detective Bureau at 330-672-3070.
