Notes From the Monday Kent State Football Press Conference

*Senior wide receiver Tyshon Goode will not be ready to play in the Thursday home opener vs Towson.

*Head football coach Darrell Hazell says he will be ready week two against Kentucky.

*Sophomore running back Trayion Durham will get a majority of the carries this season.

*Hazell says the offensive line has improved from last year.

*Freshman Anthony Melchiori from Aurora, Ohio will be the starting punter.

*Senior wide receiver Eric Adeyemi will handle a majority of the punt returns. Hazell says the past two weeks at practice he has had more passion and energy.

*Hazell wants to get freshman running back Julian Durden 3-5 carries on Thursday.
