Vigil for Natalie Weber scheduled for April 24

Kent State’s To Write Love on Her Arms UChapter and Active Minds are co-hosting a vigil for Natalie Weber at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 in Bowman Hall Room 137. The event is called Red Flags for Rescue: A Memorial for Natalie Weber (A Conversation About Mental Health).

Natalie Weber, sophomore pre-fashion design and merchandising major from Cambridge, Ohio, died Friday, April 13. The Portage County Coroner’s office ruled the 19-year-old’s death a suicide.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Monday, April 23, tables will be set up in the Student Center with information about the event and resources about depression and suicide.
