In February 2012, Kent State launched a one hundred thousand dollar billboard campaign claiming the university is “Number one in college graduates in Northeast Ohio.” The slogan itself has been a source of confusion. But one question never answered was how the university chose the apparently confusing slogan. TV2 reporter Rich Pierce set out to find the process behind the one hundred thousand dollar phrase.
