The Kent State Police Department has three positions available.

After one officer retired and two others relocated, the department is looking to refill their staff.

Applicants must be 21-years old, apply by Feb. 25 and take written and physical tests in March.

Community Resource Officer Michquel Penn describes the qualifications the department is looking for in the applicants.

Officer Penn also says a part-time dispatch position is available. He or she will not only be dispatching for the campus but for Brimfield Township as well.

The applications can be found on the Kent State Human Resources website.
