TV2: Volleyball defeats Cleveland State in 5 sets

The Kent State Golden Flashes volleyball team pulled out all the stops in one of their toughest games of the season.

The Golden Flashes fought back from a 2-to1 deficit from the visiting Cleveland State Vikings to take their second consecutive home victory by a score of 3-2.

Making their home debut on the night was freshmen Jenny Buczek, who led the Golden Flashes in kills with 16. She replaced Lauren Engleman in the starting line-up, who is currently out with an injury.

Also making their a solid home debut was Tinuke Aderemi-Ibitola, who showcased 8 kills and the game-winning block in the fifth set.

The volleyball team has their first home tournament in the M.A.C. Center this Friday, as they host IUPUI at 1 o’clock.
