Kent remembers Spc. Adam Hamilton

A crowd of hundreds filled Roosevelt High School’s auditorium Thursday morning to remember Army Spc. Adam Hamilton. Hamilton died May 28 from wounds sustained by an improvised explosive device, or IED.

A graduate of Roosevelt in 2007, Hamilton was well-known in Kent and the surrounding communities. He was the son of Scott and Connie Hamilton, of Kent, and Nancy Krestan, of Mantua. Krestan, is an administrative secretary at the Faculty Development Center at Kent State. Below are pictures of Hamilton’s funeral.
