Kent State University has been named a 2010 Tree Campus USA University by the Arbor Day Foundation.

This will be the third consecutive year Kent State received this honor.

Kent State met the five core standards of tree care and community engagement to receive this honor.

The university was one of 29 schools in the country when they received their first designation of Tree Campus USA in 2008.
