All sophomores in the College of Communication and Information are invited to attend the Sophomore Appreciation Day from noon to 2 p.m. on Oct.13 at Olson Hall.

“There are all these activities for the freshmen, we are doing things for the sophomores now, too, because research shows that’s it’s a hard year for students,” said Catherine Zingrone, the CCI’s director of the undergraduate advising and curriculum services.

Zingrone said Dean Stanley T. Werden will speak to students in a video conference. Also, CCI faculty, dean’s office staff and student leaders will be there to offer support for the sophomores. Along with lunch, resource lists with fun tips and suggested electives will be given out to students.
